Apparently this is the best beer in the world and the beer that the current US obsession with saisons styles itself after. I’ve had this at least once before, not standout for me.
Look: Murky yellow beer with quite a bit of floating sediment. Despite the bottle starting to froth a little before I poured it, the head wasn’t enormous. Healthy lacing on the side of the glass.
Aroma: Tart vine fruit, honey, spice. A little citrus.
Taste: Floral with sherbet, pepper. Fruity with tart strawberries.
Mouthfeel: High carbonation. Fizzy like sparkling water. This makes it feel thinner than it actually is, but it’s a clean finish.

Overall: This beer hides the alcohol really well. Feels fresh, but with the carbonation and the vine fruit, it feels like a malty sparkling wine. I’m sort of tempted to try it a few more times to see if I can convince myself there’s something here for me, but if I’m honest, I don’t think I like it. /5
